Meet the founder

The Seed of a Business idea

A successful business requires
The idea is to be planted and introduced to the world
It needs to be allowed to grow, flourish and blossom
For you to reap the fruits of your labour

This principle has guided my journey as the founder of The Naked Chemist.

Creating skincare feels like something I’ve been leading up to my whole life.

My lifelong passion for skincare and beauty has culminated in creating a brand, and skincare feels like something I’ve been leading up to my entire life.

One that reflects my values and vision for natural beauty.

From a young age, I was captivated by the art of formulation.

My childhood was filled with countless experiments, and I often used chemistry sets as my creative outlet.

I would eagerly mix ingredients from my kitchen, delighting in discovering new concoctions.

My fascination with creating unique formulas was not merely a phase but a precursor to my future in the skincare industry.

The Business idea

A successful business idea begins with a spark that, when nurtured, can flourish and yield fruitful results.

As I grew older, I decided to pursue a career in beauty. This made me a successful aesthetician, international spa manager, and educator.

Each role deepened my understanding of skin health and beauty while honing my customer care and product knowledge skills.

However, throughout this journey, a persistent desire remained to create a skincare line that embodied my philosophy and expertise.

Over the years, I noticed a growing demand for customised skincare solutions among my clients.

Many sought tailored formulations to address their specific needs, prompting me to reflect on my vision for a skincare range that emphasises natural ingredients and effective results.

This yearning for innovation and connection with my clients naturally paved the way for The Naked Chemist.

The Naked Chemist is more than just a skincare brand; it is a commitment to transparency in beauty and education.

I believe that skincare should be accessible, understandable, and practical. To that end, my brand provides well-researched formulas catering to four specific skin types: oily, normal, dry, and combination.

Each product is carefully crafted to address various skin conditions, such as sensitivity, acne, dryness, and more.

Transparency

I aim to eliminate the frills and clever marketing that often cloud the skincare industry—instead, I prioritise clarity and honesty in my formulations.

At The Naked Chemist, every ingredient is thoughtfully chosen for its effectiveness and safety, with a commitment to educating my customers through the blog and my free ebooks about what they are putting on their skin.

My blog provides a platform for sharing knowledge, tips, and insights into natural beauty, allowing customers to make informed decisions.

Moreover, I am dedicated to fostering a community of individuals passionate about skincare. I invite everyone to join me on this journey and explore the possibilities of natural beauty together.

Whether seeking guidance on specific skin concerns or simply learning about skincare, I support you. Your questions and inquiries are always welcome, and I am eager to assist you in finding the right solutions for your skin.

The Naked Chemist’s Future is bright.

Reflecting on this journey, I am excited about what lies ahead. I am committed to continually evolving and expanding the range to help people heal their skin.

I envision a brand that not only meets the diverse needs of our customers but also serves as a trusted resource in the ever-changing skincare landscape.

In conclusion, my journey as the founder of The Naked Chemist has been shaped by a lifelong passion for beauty, a commitment to transparency, and a desire to empower others through knowledge.

Skincare is a personal and transformative experience, and I am thrilled to share this journey with you. Together, we can cultivate a deeper understanding of skincare and celebrate the beauty of natural ingredients.

Join me as we embark on this exciting adventure into beauty and skincare. I genuinely hope you will be a part of this journey.
