Mature skin routine
As we age, our skin experiences both intrinsic and extrinsic ageing. Intrinsic ageing is a natural result of time passing, leading to decreased collagen and reduced nutrient supply, resulting in fine lines and thinner skin. Extrinsic ageing is driven by External factors like pollution, smoking, and processed foods, which contribute to free radical damage molecules that hinder collagen production and damage new cells. Though full reversal of ageing is impossible, practises can be put in place to help mitigate this damage; safeguarding the skin from environmental ageing, maintaining a balanced lifestyle, nutrition, and proper skincare practices can contribute to longevity.
