Dark spots routine
There are three types of dark spots or hyperpigmentation: sunspots, post-inflammatory (PIH) patches, and melasma.
Sunspots, also known as ‘age spots,’ are the most prevalent type of hyperpigmentation caused by melanocytes. These skin cells produce melanin, our natural dark pigment, to shield against solar damage.
PIH is often associated with breakouts or acne, which results from skin trauma like picking or scarring and is caused by increased melanin production.
Melasma leads to dark patches on the face, attributed to UV, pregnancy or other hormonal changes. Our targeted skin care products have been specifically formulated to address pigmentation problems at their source, protecting against further damage and promoting clearer, youthful, radiant skin.
