Tips on How to stay Healthy

Lately I have been taking time out of my busy days, in order to reflect on what it truly means to lead a healthy lifestyle.

I believe the singular most important thing that matters, is to truly love who you are body, mind and soul.

Yet often we get lost in all the noise and lose sight of loving and valuing ourselves; this causes us to make decisions based on other people, rather than trusting in what we think.

So for the purpose of this article, i thought I would look at some tools that we can introduce into our daily lives, in order to start living the life of our dreams.

How to Stay Healthy

Start a Journal

This is a great way to make friends with yourself.

For most of us our days are full of endless activities that keep us from spending time alone, and knowing how to stay healthy does take work, use your journal to record events and to become intimate with yourself,

As time goes by you should start to see improvements in all areas of your life.

Stress Management

Tips on how to stay healthy, would not be complete without mentioning stress and dealing with anxiety.

A word that is becoming more and more common as we try to keep up with this fast pace of life.

Over stressing your system causes adrenaline to redirect blood away from the skin, sending it to the muscles instead, which can cause us to look pale and tired when stressed.

Dangerous Free Radicals are also released, causing premature ageing and stress related hormones.

Enzymes and other chemicals can end up leaving our bodies feeling exhausted, and our minds burnt out.

For this reason, we need to introduce ways to reduce stress, and take time out of our busy day to stop and smell the roses.

Natural Products

We couldn’t possibly complete this series on healthy lifestyle practices, without mentioning the importance of using natural skin care products, that are not only good for your skin, but also the environment.

Many commercial creams and shower gels contain chemicals, which can get stored in your bodies fatty tissue, which are difficult to remove.

So be conscious not only about what you eat, but also what you put on your skin.
