We have to let you into a little beauty secret here at the Naked Chemist, there is a hydrating moisturiser in our range that we admit to of fallen in love with.
This cooling, overnight moisturising mask not only plumps and restores dehydrated skin, but its electrolyte cocktail infuses the skin with a continuous veil of intense hydration.
In addition to restoring the balance of hydration and moisture levels in the skin, Quench hydrating water gel, improves the visible signs of damage, uneven tone, and texture.
Skin health benefits
- Immerses the skin in pure, natural moisture
- Easily absorbed, yet powerfully hydrates the skin
- Plumps expression lines, crevices appear less pronounced
- Replenishes humectants found naturally in our skin that deplete with age
What is it formulated to do?
With a blend of water-replenishing ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, sorbitol, sodium PCA, urea, and powerful antioxidants, Quench effectively rehydrates dry, parched skin, making it soft, supple and youthful -delivering intense, soothing hydration.
Many of our clients have extremely dry skin, and as they age it has become even drier, and as we are all about replenishing skin-identical ingredients that are missing, it was important for us to create a humectant rich gel-based moisturiser, that helped to quench dehydrated skin – restoring the skin’s natural moisture balance.
Valuable hydrating ingredients
Humectant Blend: Unique hydration, including Sorbitol, Hyaluronic Acid, and Sodium PCA, attract and bind water molecules; flooding the skin with intense moisture. They are vital in helping to maintain normal hydration levels in the skin, improving barrier strength and lipid content, calming redness, irritation and protecting against environmental dehydration.
Marine Collagen: Rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, this marine complex is extremely nourishing; feeding skin cells with a continuous nutrient infusion.
Urea: In skin as we age this ingredient depletes, there can be a reduction of as much as 50% – and in those with eczema, as much as 80% – of this all-important, moisture-regulating ingredient. Interestingly, it is also a natural keratolytic; it gently sloughs off dead skin cells, smoothing fine lines, and softening the skins rough texture.
