As a clinical esthetician, I always stress the importance of a healthy moisture barrier to lock in hydration and protect against irritation.

My skin was damaged after several treatments of micro needling and retina. I live in the USA but found one of the Naked Chemist articles online. It saved me from going through with the laser and peel treatment the dermatologist recommended. These products are the only ones that do not irritate my skin and it is slowly healing!! I am also grateful for Samantha who personally recommended the right products for me to use!! She definitely is passionate about helping others with their skincare needs.

  Please only ever resort to using occasional gentle lactic mild peels. You have a skin barrier and delicate microflora that makes up the acid mantle on your skin and it must remain intact to keep inflammation out. You don’t need these invasive therapies and we see laser burning deep into the dermis and doing further damage. However we appreciate it’s a vicious circle when treating your skin after a bad microneedling treatment but sometimes, a gentle natural approach is best to restore the health of your skin. it certainly is a calling, and os very glad we can help return your skin to health.

I LOVE all of these products! My face was severely damaged by microneedling 😔 as I researched and tried different products I came across a very educational article by Samantha explaining how micro-needling can damage our skin. I wish I would have never done that to my face. Finding Samantha’s products has really given me hope. I have been using these products for about 5 months and my face feels and looks better. Fortify has been an absolute life saver for me! I have had eczema my whole life, but after recently having a baby, I started getting terrible flares on my face and neck. My skin became so sensitised and would tolerate very few products. After lots of research about skin barrier repair, I came across Samantha’s products. I was thrilled to see there were no awful preservatives and fragrances in the products, and Fortify is also without essential oils, which is perfect for sensitive/ eczema prone skin. Samantha’s customer service was absolutely outstanding and she answered all of my many questions so promptly. Fortify has kept my rashes at bay and quickly calms any patches of redness that come up. My skin was incredibly dry, but now feels hydrated and so much healthier in general. I can also tolerate a sunscreen again and make up when needed. Thanks for all your help Samantha, it has been greatly appreciated.

When my combination skin is dry, I turn to this moisturiser because it does its job without causing acne. I use Miracle Cleanse because it doesn’t make the skin dry and then apply Fortify if my face needs extra moisturising.

Fortify Barrier Repair Cream is a treasure for the skin’s barrier. It has the exact composition of ingredients to restore the barrier. It feels light and nourishing on the skin and sunscreen and/or makeup go on beautifully after you apply it. It is super dry where I live so I’ve been using it on top of Quench after I layer my serums. It has a lovely soft finish on the skin. My rosacea prone skin loves Fortify and if you are at all sensitive to scents in products, Fortify has no scent. Perfect for an impaired barrier and those with sensitive skin. Barrier creams have always felt heavy and greasy to me and not great for regular wear. This cream is lightweight, absorbs fully and keeps you hydrated throughout the day or night. Thank you for creating such an excellent product that so many people need for their best skin!

This formula was the most challenging for us, we wanted once to mimic the composition of the skin whilst still having a wonderful skin feel and not being to occlusive for the day, and in Fortify we really feel we have this. NC products saved my weak skin barrier after 8 months usage of cortisone cream 1 year plus ago. I had a sudden flare up 1 month ago..my skin was suddenly dehydrated, itchy and whatever I applied makes my skin turns red. Due to urgency, I spent almost RM5000 (equivalent to NZD1800) in salon products to fix my skin but the result was extremely slow…my skin was still red and barrier was still weak. I finally contacted Samantha again and after some advice, Samantha was kind to reformulate for me their old version of barrier cream which was the yellow fortify which worked wonderfully and saved my skin barrier last time. So glad the chemist still have the formula recorded. I am forever grateful for her kindness. Just 1 week applications of Bio Lipid and Fortify day and night added with DNA in the morning…i woke up with skin where 80% of redness gone, skin is smoother and more plumped. Even my pores are smaller.

Again NC products has saved my skin this 2nd time. This proves that NC products are far more superior in repairing weak skin barrier than any salon products as NC uses the correct formulation and simple approach. Eventhough I have yet to try all the other skin shots but I will once my skin is back on track again. NC will continue to have my support for life as my skin can’t live without the 2 main products now which is Bio Oil and Fortify.
