With H20 we continue with our philosophy to treat ‘like with like’
using pure hyaluronic that is naturally found in the composition of our skin
Hyaluronic acid is a natural carbohydrate in the body, that declines rapidly with age – and with it, our cell’s ability to hold moisture. Coupled with environmental aggressors that rob the skin of important hydration, this causes a loss of elasticity in skin that was once plump, taut, and hydrated. The result is dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. This is why it is important to include hyaluronic acid in your skincare routine.
The average person has around 15 grams of HA in the body, one-third of which is degraded or re-synthesised daily. HA is an important structural molecule in the extracellular matrix of our skin. It is synthesized there by fibroblasts, fibrocytes, and by stem repair cells
The benefits of a well thought out HA serum are quite profound, a moisturiser or oil is sometimes not enough to reawaken dull, dehydrated skin, because lipid-dry skin is very different to dehydrated skin and can be a real problem for many of my clients, regardless of their skin type. An oily skin caused by overactive sebaceous glands, can sometimes be as a result of dehydration, where the skin goes into overdrive, so it needs also to be kept well hydrated.
H20 is specifically formulated with three different molecular weights of hyaluronic, so its role on the skin is three fold;
At a low weight it is very anti ageing: The molecular structure ensures faster and deeper absorption, penetrating the dermal layer in a bid to nurture and repair collagen, including any new collagen that appears after the solution is applied.
At mid weight it is very healing: Stimulating the body’s own natural production of hyaluronic, whilst supporting the formation and maintenance of important connective tissue.
At high weight it is extremely hydrating: It locks in moisture to the outer layer of skin, keeping it plump, vibrant and youthful.
The quality of the HA serum you use is vital to the best outcome for your skin, especially if you undertake micro-needling treatment. H20 is a pure form of hyaluronic, formulated without any alcohols or skin irritants, and preserved organically, giving prematurely aged and stressed skin an instant lift.
