NZ VINANZA GRAPE & 2% CO ENZYME Q10 30mL 1.0 fl oz

Environmental aggressors, UV, and pollution lead to premature ageing; stressing skin and affecting its function.
This causes free radicals to attack cell membranes, breaking them down; leaving skin discoloured, dehydrated, and dry

Hyperpigmentation is difficult to treat. It requires the use of skin-lightening agents which selectively target melanocyte cells and melanin deposits that cause discolouration. With the recent safety concern regarding the use of hydroquinone, the need for alternative, natural, safe, and efficacious skin lightening ingredients is becoming all the more necessary

The aim with this formula is threefold: Firstly, to create a lightening treatment that is significantly less cytotoxic than hydroquinone. Secondly, to deliver a protective veil of natural antioxidants to the skin; protecting against inflammation and reversing some of the ravages of oxidative stress. Thirdly, to provide an anti-ageing remedy that lifts and illuminates; reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation and expression lines for a uniform, bright complexion.

The result is an incredible elixir that works with the skin’s own natural process of repair and renewal. Co-Enzyme Q10 boosts the skin’s oxygen intake, which is key to the cell renewal process. Revolutionary grape extract supplies the skin with scavengers that hunt down particles left over from pollution residue, whilst active botanical extracts – including Liquorice and Bearberry – balance and brighten uneven skin tone and signs of micro-pigmentation. Clinical trials carried out on Japanese women with melasma showed that a 3% concentration of Bearberry extract alone produced effective results in 71.4% of patients during a three-month period.

Skin health is boosted further with intensive, hydrating humectants, which optimise water circulation throughout the skin’s layers – reducing moisture loss, boosting the skin’s Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), keeping delicate skin plump and protected.

Tip: it’s important to be realistic about how quickly you see results. Whilst the initial tone-enhancing benefits may be noticeable from the first week of daily use, pigmentation can often be deep-rooted, so benefits at large are continuing and cumulative and may take up to 3 months.

Skin Health Benefits

  • Selectively target hyperplastic melanocytes and inhibit key regulatory steps in melanin synthesis
  • Hydrating ingredients optimise water circulation throughout all layers of the skin, reducing moisture loss
  • The naturally derived skin lightening agents have a unique chemical structure, that shows long term inhibitory effect on melanin
  • Supplies cells with a daily dose of healthy antioxidants, defending against oxidative stress that can lead to premature ageing

Co-Enzyme Q10: A fat soluble vitamin found in every cell in the body, that’s vital to the production of energy within our cells. Q10 gradual declines with age even though the body’s demand for it grows. Applied topically it penetrates the cellular layers reducing wrinkle depth due to photo ageing. Its powerful antioxidant properties also protect cells from oxidative DNA damage.
Vinanza Grape: Clinically proven to improve skin health, elasticity, and cell membrane integrity, whilst also having the positive effects of lightening and brightening the skin.
Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine. An intelligent ingredient that inhibits melanotropin, a melanin stimulator found in the skin, which controls tyrosinase activity – the essential enzyme in the skin that is involved in the production of melanin, thus preventing the production of melanotropin, effectively halting the pigmentation process.
Bearberry: A botanical, naturally-occuring cousin to hydroquinone, that is significantly less cytotoxic to the melanocyte, making it a much safer, yet very effective treatment for reducing melanin deposition, decreasing visibility of hyper-pigmented areas to even out the skin tone

I have been using this for a month and notice that my skin is much clearer, lighter and brighter. I can’t say if it has lightened my sun spots but my skin, overall, has stopped looking flat and dull. My skin type is non-oil producing so this product leaves my skin taut after use. However, this is easily remedied when applying any of Samantha’s amazing moisturisers and skin shots afterwards. Definitely recommended if your skin looks lifeless and dull.

Glo is designed to really vitalise dull, tired, mature skin that is over exposed to the sun. Great to hear that you have been layering your formulas – which is what this customised range is all about, truly listening to your skin which after all is the largest organ on the body and the first thing people notice about us.
      Yours in skin health Samantha
