I have been working with the skin for over 25 years, so I am very aware of the healing powers of Vitamin B, and with so many clients coming to me with compromised skin, there was a demand to develop a multifunctional cosmeceutical that addressed a broad range of skin conditions.
Since its creation, B+ has quickly become a hero product; the “go-to” formula for many of my clients whose skin is out of balance, stressed, or on the verge of a breakout.
By harnessing the three B Vitamins in one formula, including 10% of the active ingredient Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) the synergistic benefits that each bring to the skin, has been little short of remarkable:
Vitamin B3 or Niacimide is the essential skin ingredient, strengthening the stratum corneum whilst improving skin density and boosting skin immunity. Its balancing properties and the fact that it helps to suppress excess oil production within the skins tissues, makes it the perfect choice for combination skin and for those suffering from excessive oiliness or acne. Vitamin B3 is also a potent anti ageing ingredient, due to its ability to stimulate collagen production. in the dermis.
Vitamin B5 also referred to as Provitamin B5 or Panthenol, is incredibly skin healing. It works to stabilise the skin barrier, improving skin softness, plumping the skin to reducing the appearance of fine lines and also scars. It’s also exhibit anti-bacterial properties, perfect for those suffering from pimples, pustules and papule.
Vitamin B9 vitamin B9, plays a vital role in skin health. Containing high concentrations of antioxidants, it reduces levels of oxidative stress and neutralises harmful free-radicals to ward off premature ageing. Folic acid also boosts skin barrier function, which improves moisture-retention, alleviating skin dryness.
The synergistic blend of ingredients work together to clarify uneven texture, target impurities, and reduce the oily shine that builds up throughout the day.
Note: The high concentration of Niacimide makes this a potent skin shot that need to be introduced carefully into your skincare routine. Use at the opposite end of the day to your Vitamin C treatment, as they can cancel each other out. A niacin reaction causes flushing; this is a temporary side effect and will pass.
