With so many clients coming to us with compromised skin, there was a demand to develop a multifunctional cosmeceutical that worked for all skin types and addressed a broad range of conditions.
Working with the skin for over 25 years, I have personally been witness to the real affinity that Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) has on the skin, it is a true multitasker and has the remarkable ability to ward off signs of premature ageing, reduce inflammatory markers and regulate the production of sebum (oil) – making it an important ingredient for treating over oily skin, breakouts and acne grade 1 and 2.
The synergistic blend of ingredients, help with cell metabolism – acting as a precursor to the production of important proteins required for skin health, including Collagen, Keratin, and Filaggrin.
Since its creation, B+ has quickly become a hero product; the “go-to” formula for many clients who are concerned with expression lines, or whose skin is stressed, out of balance, or on the verge of a breakout.
Note: The high concentration of B-Vitamins makes this a very potent skin shot, so use at the opposite end of the day to your Vitamin C complex, as they may cancel each other out.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): This multi-tasking ingredient helps fight the signs of ageing by boosting collagen – reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Its anti-inflammatory effect stimulates the skin’s healing processes whilst suppressing the production of excess sebum, balancing oil on the surface of the skin.
Kiwi Extract: This NZ superfood is a powerful anti-ageing ingredient, its high levels of polyphenols, flavonoids, carotenoids, and vitamin C – potent antioxidants that neutralise the free radicals linked to ageing. Containing an enzyme called actinidain that balances the skin’s pH levels and gently exfoliates, leaving skin toned, and even. Its also a powerful anti-ageing ingredient which is due to its high levels of polyphenols, flavonoids, carotenoids, and vitamin C – the high bioactivity of these antioxidants neutralise the free radicals linked to ageing.
Panthenol (Vitamin B5): Stabilises the skin barrier function so skin is kept moist, plump, and protected; improving hydration to alleviate dryness and reduce the appearance of fine lines. A deficiency in vitamin B5 in the skin can result in serious dermatological disorders, which indicates how important this ingredient is in maintaining healthy skin.
Hyaluronic Acid: A natural moisturiser found in our skin, this molecule can attract and retain more than 1,000 times its own weight in water. It works by drawing moisture from the air into your tissues, providing powerful hydration.
