It is my belief that hydrated skin is healthy skin, and Quench fills that gap

Your skin contains between 15–20% water, but if this level drops skin quickly becomes dehydrated – which is characterised by a rough texture, dryness, flakiness, and fine lines. Inflammation may also be present, which can impair both the acid mantle and protective barrier function, which is why keeping the skin hydrated is so important.

Your skin has a Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), which is made up of Urea, Lactic Acid, Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (PCA), Hyaluronic Acid, and Lipids, all of which can deplete as a result of trauma or ageing. When this occurs, surface dehydration becomes apparent.

Quench has been intelligently formulated with these ingredients to replenish what is missing, clarifying, and boosting your skin’s natural processes to bring it back into balance; so it is less reactive.

The addition of hibiscus and rose gently lightens and brightens, smoothing the appearance of fine lines for supple, younger-looking skin.

Tip: Use alone, or layer on top of your H2O to use as a luxurious, plumping, overnight mask. You’ll wake up to hydrated, bouncy, baby-soft skin.

It is also important to remember that oily skin can be due to dehydration.

Skin Health Benefits

  • immerses the skin in pure, natural moisture
  • easily absorbed, yet powerfully hydrates the skin
  • plumps expression lines, crevices appear less pronounced
  • replenishes humectants found naturally in our skin that deplete with age

Humectant Blend: An electrolyte cocktail of unique hydrators, including Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium PCA, attract and bind water molecules to the skin; rehydrating parched, dry skin flooding it with intense moisture.
Urea: In dry skin, there can be a reduction of as much as 50% – and in those with eczema, as much as 80% – of this important, moisture-regulating molecule. It is a natural keratolytic; gently sloughing off dead cells, smoothing fine lines, and softening texture.
Hibiscus extract: A natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids specifically malic and citric acid exfoliate, to gently lighten and brighten the skin improving clarity, revealing a youthful, luminous skin.
Manuka Honey: Creates a barrier; sealing in moisture to support the active repair of the skin. An active antibacterial it normalises skin’s microbiome; strengthening the natural defences in the skin.

  1. Melinda (verified owner)

This is a wonderfully luxurious product! It is so soothing and hydrating. It has a slight natural rose scent but is not overpowering. I have been using it at nighttime and my skin is super soft as I wake. I will be incorporating it into my morning routine as winter approaches to add an extra layer of moisture.
