It is my belief that hydrated skin is healthy skin, and Quench fills that gap
Healthy skin contains between 15–20% water, but if this level drops, the skin becomes dehydrated. Not to be confused with lipid-dry skin, which is lacking in oil, dehydrated skin is characterised by a rough texture, dryness, flakiness, and fine lines. Inflammation may be present as the protective barrier may be less effective.
Within the epidermis are biological structures responsible for moisture retention. If any of these become depleted of sufficient water, surface dehydration occurs. Topically rehydrating your skin brings it back into balance; it is healthy and less reactive.
Many of my clients, even those with oily skin, present with skin conditions associated with dehydration. Our Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) maintains water balance in the skin, but its components – including Urea, Lactic Acid, Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (PCA), Hyaluronic Acid, and Lipids – deplete with age or from trauma. QUENCH has been intelligently formulated with ingredients identical to these to restore, clarify, and boost the skin.
I’m really proud to add this formula to my range; it’s the antidote to that radiant and elusive glow that is often hard to achieve with dry, dehydrated, or mature skin.
Tip: Use alone, or layer on top of your H2O to use as a luxurious, plumping, overnight mask. You’ll wake up to hydrated, bouncy, baby-soft skin.
