DNA is the antidote to anti-ageing and impaired barrier function. It has a multi-faceted approach that rejuvenates your skin, regenerating skin cells and rebuilding a thin, fragile skin resulting from a damaged barrier whilst combatting chronological ageing, preserving your skin’s youthful look and vitality.

The correct pH balance is critical for your skin’s health. A protective film known as the acid mantle inhibits the growth of foreign bacteria, rendering it less vulnerable to attack from irritants. Balanced skin is somewhat acidic – falling between pH 4.2 and 5.6 – but when out of balance, the barrier function becomes impaired, leaving your skin prone to ageing, breakouts, infection, and inflammation.

Copper peptides, ions, and peptide proteins are found within your skin, but these molecules are used and not replaced with age, so topical replenishment is vital. These essential molecules keep pH levels within the acidic range and play a role in your skin’s inflammatory response, helping to maintain your skin’s health. They also increase collagen synthesis, regulate natural copper levels and activate fibroblasts, encouraging adult skin cells to perform similarly to youthful skin.

The combination of powerful humectants boosts collagen and elastin production, so your skin is plump, and fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed. Your skin’s natural stores of Hyaluronic acid are elevated, so your skin is left deeply hydrated, soft to the touch, and more youthful-looking.

    I love the DNA serum! It’s just the most wonderful, hydrating and calming serum I have ever used. My skin drinks it up within seconds, and it doesn’t leave any residue on the skin. I use it at night only and follow with Quench moisturizer. These products make my skin feel happy and balanced. I still get some hormonal breakouts here and there, but since using The Naked Chemist range they seem to heal much quicker and I don’t seem to get as much scarring/hyperpigmentation. My skin was quite compromised from using active ingredients like Retinol and Vitamin C. Since reaching out to Samantha about 6 or 8 weeks ago and starting her recommended regime, my skin feels so much happier. Yes, of course my skin is not perfect yet, I can still see my pores, sun damage and acne scarring. Addressing these things will take time. BUT, for the first time in in ages I look in the mirror and think “I don’t need foundation today.’ And to me, this is wonderful.

    Having foolishly damaged my skin with a particular facial exercise, I had spent three years trying numerous lotions and potions in an attempt to retard at least some of the degradation caused before I came across the Naked Chemist via an internet search. Having read the way in which Samantha advises and aids her (even prospective) customers, I enquired and ordered two phials of DNA Age Delay Complex. Some four months later, I am still on my first bottle and have seen amazing results using this serum just once a day. Not only does my skin look healthier and plumper, but some of the damage actually seems to have been reversed. Naturally, I am not trying to paint this little blue bottle as a miracle worker. It does, however, achieve excellent, noticeable results over time. I highly recommend it, especially to individuals who, like myself, have “mechanically” damaged thin skin. You will almost certainly see some rebuilding of the epidermis and a more youthful glow to boot. I would also like to add that I have probably never come across anyone as helpful as Samantha. Her knowledge, which she is more than happy to share, is astounding. She is only too willing to give advice on various skin-related topics and concerns.
