Considered the “cashmere wool” of facial oils, the inclusion of Rosehip Seed Oil within my range was born out of my desire to soothe and protect my own hyper-sensitive skin and that of my clients.
Renowned for its powerful skin healing and regenerative benefits, Rosehip Seed Oil’s rich quantity of Linoleic (Omega 6), Linolenic (Omega 3), and Oleic (Omega 9), as well as pro-vitamins A and C, enable the oil to address a catalogue of conditions. These include but are not limited to dry, flaky patches; inflamed blemishes; dull skin tone; scars, and photo-ageing caused by repeated exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
Clinical trials carried out on Rosehip seed oil have shown that it contains essential nutrients which make it exceptionally active in the field of tissue regeneration, thus improving skin texture and reducing scars and skin discolouration. It is the single most effective oil for use as an anti scarring agent for all types and even friction burns.
Our formulation is completely unrefined and cold-pressed. Many oils on the market are pale and often smell bad, which is a sign the oil is rancid. To overcome this, we use only pure, cold-pressed Rosehip Seed Oil. The delicate seeds are not damaged during extraction, allowing us to preserve the potent nutrients and incredible skin healing benefits within. The result is a fresh, long-lasting, silky oil with a vibrant orange hue. Rich in antioxidants, it boosts the skin’s health for a radiant, youthful complexion.
Tip: Use neat or add to your moisturiser, I have seen good results with inclusions as low as 10%.
